About
Lisa Sullivan, MS, CDN
I grew up knowing I would pursue a career that involved helping others in some capacity. And so with a degree in Psychology and an eagerness to make a difference, I began my career in behavioral health. While caring for individuals with complex medical needs, I observed the differences between suboptimal and proper nutrition and the impact it had on mental health. This experience led me back to school where I obtained a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion.
Over the years, I have enjoyed working with many populations in a variety of healthcare settings. From USDA food labs to medical outcomes research, my experiences have shaped me into the seasoned clinician that I am today. I enjoy keeping abreast of the ever-changing science of nutrition and always provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations.
Today, my therapeutic approach is based on functional medicine concepts that are dedicated to investigating and treating the root causes of unwanted health symptoms. My goal as a clinician is to bridge this approach with personalized nutrition and lifestyle counseling so my clients can achieve the nutritional wellness they deserve.
